Living in Paris definitely helps charge one's creative batteries so to speak. This weeks experiments is based on the Paris metro system. If you haven't been, think the Tube(London), the subway(NYC). the "L"(Chicago), and bart/muni(SFbay)...Often especially with where I live, I have to change lines, go forwards, backwards and then onto the next stop, change...etc...this got me thinking....if the human body can be seen as a "city" then....? These drapes are based on a fixed point - meaning there are X number of fixed - pinned points that cannot be changed and I have to drape around(over, under sideways..you get the point...pun intended) them to create a design of sorts. This week I'm mainly exploring 3-4 fixed points...more difficult! FD
